Открытый урок в 5 классе по английскому языку на тему “Моя семья” по учебнику Spotlight.
Цель урока: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции.
Образовательная: Формирование умений употребления новых лексических единиц (устойчивые словосочетания – Сравнительные обороты).
Развитие умений прогнозирования содержания текста на основе заголовка и иллюстраций и ознакомительного чтения.
Расширение словарного запаса за счет освоения синонимов.
Развивающий: Развитие лингвистической компетенции.
Развитие умений лингвистического анализа при сопоставлении устойчивых сравнительных оборотов в английском и русском языках.
Развитие навыков употребления языкового материала в речевых ситуациях на основе личного опыта.
Воспитательный: Воспитание культуры общения в парах , в группах.
Воспитание самостоятельности и личной ответственности.
Тип урока: освоение новых знаний.
Оснащение урока: доска, компьютер, проектор.
Ход урока.
Good morning, сhildren! I am glad to see you again.
Look at the blackboard. There are some pictures. What do you think we will speak about today? (Family). You are right . Today we are going to talk about our families.
Now I’ll give you the pictures of Cinderella, Goldilocks and Buratino. There are texts here. Read them and give their Russian equivalents. Now answer, please: What is Cinderella (Buratino, Goldilocks) like?
Children give their answers using the information from the texts.
(if pupils don’t understand the question, I use the examples from the class).
Writing: Let’s write out from the texts all the adjectives that describe the character. Children name the adjectives and write them on the blackboard. What other adjectives do you know?
Speaking: What is your mum (dad, sister, brother, granny, granddad) like? What are you like?
And I’m like a bee (the picture of a bee is on the blackboard), because I’m as busy as a bee. I ask the pupils permission and make examples. Amira is like an owl, because she is as wise as an owl. Dasha is like a kitten, because she is as funny as a kitten.
Translate into Russian:
As cunning as a fox (I can prompt: What is fox like?)
As cowardly as a hare
As strong as a horse
As talkative as a parrot
As boastful as a cock
As hungry as a wolf
As powerful as a lion
Reading. Open your books on page 63. Read the task. Read one by one and match the adjectives to compare animals with people.
Listening and speaking. Listen to the poem on page 63. Read the first two lines. What do you expect the poem is to be about? Children answer, then read and translate the text. Find the rhyming words
and give the similar sounds.
Hometask: ex.6, p.63, create your own poem.
