Mark Twain is a well-known American writer. He wrote many interesting novels and short stories. And he also traveled much as a lecturer. One day Mark Twain was traveling in France. He was going by train to Dijon and being very tired he wanted to sleep. So he asked the conductor to wake him up when they came to Dijon. "When I’m asleep", the writer told the conductor, "it isn’t easy to wake me up. I'll probably protest loudly when you try, but never mind that, just put me off the train anyway. "As soon as the train started, M. Twain went to sleep. When he woke up, the train was already in Paris and he realized that the conductor had forgotten to wake him up at Dijon. When he found the man, he shouted at him, "I've never been so angry in all my life." The conductor looked at Mark Twain and just said, "You're not half as angry as the American I put off the train at Dijon".
