Discover Britain

Цель: научить учащихся рассказывать об острове Британия на основе изученной лексики и нового материала

Задачи:

Практическая:

- повторение изученной лексики по теме 'Discover Britain';

- тренировка лексики по теме 'Discover Britain' для подготовки к монологическому высказыванию;

- развитие навыков поискового чтения;

- развитие навыков аудирования с целью выборочного извлечения информации;

- развитие навыков монологической речи.

Образовательная:

- знакомство учащихся с островом Британия.

Развивающая:

- развитие англоязычной коммуникативной компетенции у учащихся в рамках реализации межпредметных связей;

- развитие мышления, логики учащихся, воображения.

Воспитательная:

- воспитание уважительного отношения у учащихся к изучаемой стране, глубокое осознание культуры через знакомство с историческими памятниками.

I. Greetings.

T: Hello, children. I'm glad to see you. How are you? Sit down please.

II. T: Today we are going to make a tour of Britain. During the trip we'll revise the main issues about Great Britain and we'll find out some extra facts about it.

It is not only an industrial city but also a historic place with a cathedral, a university and a a castle. One of the mountains is MountSnowdow. It looks very peaceful and beautiful in a shining day. But in winter it can become very dangerous.
