Funny books make me laugh,

I don't know why.
Thrillers bore me to death,

Fantasy is good fun.

And I don't read science fiction,

I've never done.
All those robots and fights,

And alien ships,

Make me cry at night,

Make me walk in my sleep.
Books will not let you down,

Books will never mislead,
