Welcome to my homeland – Tula!

Welcome to my native land, in Tula area.  In my region there are a lot of different historical sights. But I`d like to tell  you about L. N. Tolstoy's estate "Yasnaya Polyana". The great writer Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy spent the most part of his life there. "I can`t imagine Russia and my attitude towards it without  Yasnaya Polyana " he wrote. 

Two white stone towers have become a symbol of Yasnaya Polyana. The writer's grandfather put them here.

.A well-known Avenue  «Preshpect» lined with birches leads to the estate.

A Big pond. In winter it was a skating rink.

An“English " park,with a semi-overgrown pond, with a  birch bridge ,is unusually picturesque.
