The aim of the lesson:

I. Educational: To give main information about London, its history, transport

and sights.

II. Development: To improve pupils’ skills in monologue, skills of listening

comprehension and skills in reading;

To develop pupils’ love and pride to their capital.

III. Bringing up: To teach pupils to love their Motherland and respect the culture

and traditions of other countries.

Today we’ll continue speaking about London, its history, transport and sights. You know this year we’ll celebrate twenty years of independence of our republic. So we’ll spoke about our country Astana too. Do you remember in 8th form we spoke enough about London and Astana. Let’s see. But first of all warm up.
