Objectives:to introduce the topic, to work with vocabulary related to the world of sport, countries their location, features, people and culture; to read for detailed comprehension, to skim for specific points; to improve the Ss’ confidence as listeners and speakers;to enable Ss to speak (using a plan and given paragraphs from the article in jumbled order) about Ukraine as a tourist  destination to European Community;to enable Ss to take part in a discussion, express agreement/disagreement, report points of view, support  idea exchange;  to develop more positive attitude and understanding peculiarities of different countries and cultures, sport preferences, to elevate Ss’ mind within the limits of theme.
