Unit: Is it  easy to share a room? (textbook “Enjoy English”)

Topic of the lesson: An ideal roommate. 

Group characteristics: 13 students, 9th   form, mixed ability;

                                       level: intermediate; the 5th year of studying English.                

Aim of the lesson: by the end of the lesson the students will be able explain their choice of the ideal roommate for each character using the vocabulary of the text and structures. A and В should be put in one room because…

They can become very close friends.

They will enjoy each other’s company.

They have something in common

Vocabulary and structures: should/ shouldn’t, have something in common, different interests, enjoy each other’s company, styles of living, have nothing against.
