I. Introduction.

Hello, children. Sing along.

The objectives of the lesson: Good news. We are going to travel to the Land of good Manners. Are you ready to travel? That’s good.

We’ll travel by double-decker bus (картинка из презентации). You can see it in London. London is the capital of Great Britain. The travelling double-decker is red. It is big and nice.

Warming-up: Answer my questions please!

1.       Where can we see double-decker bus?

2.       What country is London the capital of?

3.       What color is double-decker?

4.       Is it big and nice?

II. Travelling.

You must buy a ticket for the travelling. You’ll do it if recite a rhyme. Показывается презентация, дети рассказывают рифмовки, получая билеты, на которых стоит цифра «5». Watch the rhymes and recite them. Thank you. Take you ticket. Here you are. Now you have got tickets and we are ready to start. We’ll make stops at the following stations: “Making friends”, “The shopping”, “Speaking over the telephone”, “At the table”. Off we go!

1.       Our first station is “Making friends”.  Listen to the song and sing along! (How do you do?) Let’s make friends. My name is Yelena Victorovna. What’s your name? How do you do? Pleased to meet you.

2.       We have made friends and our next station is “Shopping”. Mind the pronunciation: carrots, cabbages, bananas, apples, oranges, some milk, some bread, some honey, some sausage, some cheese. Give me some honey please. Here you are. Thank you. You are welcome. Let’s play the game “In the shop”. Kate, will you be a shop-assistant. Children, do the shopping. Don’t forget to be polite. Good job, children.

3.       Let’s do some exercises to have a rest.

4.       We have made the shopping and the next station is “Speaking over the telephone”. Watch the dialogue please.  (Enjoy English, 5, 40).  Act out the dialogue. Well done!

5.       Our next station is “At the table”. Page 64, exercise 25. Look at the pictures, follow Miss Chatter’s manners.  Читаются учителем. Read the expressions please.

III. The conclusion of the lesson.

1.       Our travelling to the land of manners is over and I see that you have good manners: you can make friends, do the shopping, speak over the telephone and have good table manners.

2.       Your marks for the lesson are on your tickets. Show your marks to each other. The fives only.

3.       Now good-bye and don’t forget about good manners.
