Welcome to my Homeland

My homeland is Tula. It is located one hundred eighty kilometers South of Moscow.

Tula is a big town with an area equal to 15000 ha. So it is the center of Tula region. 

My native town has a long history. The year of Foundation of the town is still unknown but it was first mentioned in the Nikon chronicle of the XVI century. The chronicle shows that in 1146 it had already existed.

There are many famous people in history of Tula but the most famous was Leo Tolstoy. 

This famous Russian writer and philosopher, was born, lived and worked in Yasnaya Polyana.

Tula is famous for the production of weapons, as well as samovars and gingerbread. There are a lot of museums
