The plan of the lesson in the 5”A” form.
The theme: Which room do you like ?
The aims of the lesson:1.to practice the structure “there is”. to teach the pupils to get to know some information about the rooms.2.to develop children’s ability in reading, writing, speaking and listening.3.to develop to share their opinions. To widen the scope.
Methods: critical thinking, complex work, individual work, question-answer, rhymes, proverbs.
Type: competition lesson.
Visual aids; pictures , cards, interactive blackboard , placards, crossword.
The procedure of the lesson:
I .Organization stage : A .Greeting.
B .The dialogue with duty.
Who is on duty today?
Who is absent today?
What day is it today?
What date is it today?
C .Let me announce the theme of our lesson. We are going to speak about Home/House/Flat. As you see we are going to have competition lesson today. You divided into two groups .We’ll competing and talking about the house, make up dialogues, ask and answer the questions , recite poems and so on. For each answer you receive yellow, blue, brown cards. Lets start. Good luck to you!
II. Phonetic drill: Listen and repeat after me , please!
[au]- house, mouse, town, down.
[a:]- car, carpet, far, farmer.
[o:]- door, floor, small, corner
[ng]- sing, ring, wing, living.
III. Checking homework: Ex.12 p.110.Writing “My room”. Look at the picture and describe your room in English.
IV. Group work. Lets look at the pictures. Listen and find the puzzles, guess what room they are. Work with cards.
V. Introduction of new words.1. Lets look at the new words in the box. Listen and repeat all together.

2.Match these words to the pictures and put necessary things in a room.
